what is wrong with this Tattoo artist

This Tattoo artist is insane!; she had her belly button cut off, her tongue forked, and blue ink injected into her EYEBALLS so she can look like a ‘pixie dream girl.’ She is only 25 years old!
Yet Grace Neutral, from London United Kingdom, is so devoted to looking like a pixie dream girl that she would change herself in such a drastic way.
Apparently according to the Daily Mail these changes have not harmed her in fact they have aided her in getting a job.
Her unusual looks have attracted attention on social media and she has amassed 315,000 Instagram followers – popularity which landed her a modelling job for designer Ashley Williams at London Fashion Week and a design collaboration with Motel Rocks last year. Additionally, Grace is a fan of scarification which involves cutting off the top layer of the skin in a pattern which then heals to leave a permanent scar.
‘There’s a huge difference being a woman in this world. For men, people swallow it more easily but for a girl they expect you to be this English rose,’ she told Yahoo 7 .

‘People come up to me and say: “Why would you do that to yourself? You’d be so pretty”.

‘But being that mainstream media aesthetic just isn’t me.

The Marilyn Manson fan had her tongue forked when she was 21, believing the rocker had also done it although she later found out that this wasn’t the case.
Grace says she modifies her body so that her external appearance reflect her soul and she would never want to look like Kim Kardashian for instance. What do you think?

guide from a city in japan: please refrain from ‘public flatulence’

A guide in Japan has raised the eyebrows of this writer perhaps because I do not live in their culture. They would ask that all visitors avoid ‘public flatulence’.
Per the AFP: “The Hokkaido Tourism Organization, which represents Japan’s northern-most island, published a downloadable brochure on its website, with polite instructions on everything from public bathing to using a Japanese toilet.
Helpfully, it even dedicated an entire section to protocol for avoiding bodily functions” (2016). People cover their noses to avoid a foul smell
“Japanese etiquette is based on avoiding causing discomfort or nuisance to others,” the guide points out.
“Accordingly, Japanese will avoid bodily functions such as belching or flatulence in public entirely, or perform bodily functions as discreetly as possible.
Apparently the pictures on the guide insulted a man from China who complained. So, they reissued the guide.
Per The AFP: “In the updated guide available in Chinese and English, gone are the large ‘X’-marks next to cartoon illustrations of tourists committing, from a Japanese perspective, embarrassing gaffes, such as putting used toilet paper into the waste bin – the general custom in China – instead of flushing it away” (2016).

Dreamworks is now a member of the NBC Universal family

NBC Universal has bought Dreamworks animation according to the AP and Newser, the deal being worth $3.8 billion.
“The acquisition, which the Los Angeles Times says came together with “breathtaking speed,” will result in DreamWorks Animation being absorbed into the Universal Filmed Entertainment group, with DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg taking on the role of chairman of DreamWorks New Media, as well as serving as a consultant to NBCUniversal” (Newser, 2016). “DreamWorks Animation is a great addition to NBCUniversal,” Steve Burke, NBCUniversal’s CEO, says.
Per the AP: “DreamWorks stockholders will receive $41 for each share they own. That’s a 24 percent premium to the company’s Wednesday closing price of $32.20.”

postaday: look at the mask – anyone want a blueberry barbecue beef bar?

This is what we all want to buy at 7-11 after school. A Blueberry Barbecue Beef bar from Hershey because the chocolate bar was soooooooo uncool and sooooooo our parents style. Yep that is a meet bar but according to a Hershey markiting person:
“we aren’t going out there saying it is a meat bar,” “We’re saying it is a Krave bar. Apparently Krave is a thing, it being a beef jerky line Hershey acquired in 2015 that turns out jazzed-up flavors like pineapple orange.
“It is a very low calorie, high protein choice,” Shane Chambers, the GM of Krave Pure Foods, told Food Business News last month.
“It is all natural, has no preservatives, and features additional ingredients like fruit and ancient grains, like quinoa,” continued Chambers. Heck i’de try one!

The first girl in more than 100 years – is what this family is dealing with

No the title isn’t smh, a family in Idaho has just had their first girl in over 100 years. The last time the Underdahl family had a baby girl was 1914.
That changed this month with the birth of Aurelia Underdahl. “I didn’t know what an Underdahl girl looked like,” Aurelia’s dad Scott tells the Press . “She’s pretty quiet, so apparently girls are different than boys in our line. Time for some breakdown:
Scott and wife Ashton already had a boy. Scott’s father Conrad had four boys. Now they will need to visit the girls section and deal with pink! ht newser.

postaday: german city puts trafic lights in payvement because lifting our heads from screens is to hard

In the really people file: a german city has installed trafic lights for the head down generation.
The city of Augsburg Germany has added more lights to the ground. They are in sink with the lights that normal people use to know when it is safe to cross streets eg, trafic lights, but these are so that people who are texting don’t need to look at other people or things. Because being social in the real world is so bad.
City spokeswoman, Stephanie Lermen, told German site N-TV : ‘GgThe embedded lights] create a whole new level of attention.
She added the project is a good use of money and the lights were introduced following the tragic death of a 15-year-old using a phone, by a tram. Anyone want some numbers?
Being distracted by your phone while crossing the road could cost you your life, with ‘texting zombies’ four times more likely not to spot oncoming traffic. A recent survey of European cities including Berlin found one fifth of pedestrians are distracted by their phones, with a study conducted by the University of Washington suggesting it’s as high as one in three in the US. This isn’t the first idea to cader toward texting people.
In 2014, the city of Chongqing experimented with a 165ft long pavement divided into lanes with one for speedy and alert pedestrians and another for ‘smombies1’ meaning smartphone zombies.
Similarly, last year, Utah Valley University’s Student Life and Wellness Centre (UVU) introduced a ‘walking and texting’ lane to a busy flight of stairs. What do you think?
