message that was spread far and wide was not written by hand but done by a computer – who really cares; it still works

A message that was thought to be scralled across a white board in the London Underground and read by the leadership in parliament is fake. The message read:
“All terrorists are politely reminded that this is London and whatever you do to us we will drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.”
Lawmaker Simon Hoare read out the message in parliament and said it spoke “for the whole country”, after which Prime Minister Theresa May described it as “a wonderful, wonderful tribute and in a very simple way has encapsulated everything everybody in this House has said today, reports Reuters.
Apparently it is fake. No one wrote the message on the white board. It was created by computer. Who cares? It is a fantastic message and a defiant one at that.
London time and time again has shown their willingness to “drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you,” throughout that great city’s history. The blits: drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.”
The attack on July 7, 2005 in the london underground: drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.” The attack on March 22, 2017: drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.” Tomorrow, next month, next year, drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.”
They are a hardy people – those londoners – who just want to drink tea and jolly well carry on thank you.”
